The Wave Energy Converter operates and protects itself, exclusively, via the principles of Hydraulics, Kinematics, and Physics. It does not use any electronic controls to perform its function at sea. It slowly dives to a safe depth when the waves are strong, and slowly resurfaces when the danger has passed.
